“ A hidden gem in Chouteau! We moved here from Dallas and have struggled the last year to find great food comparable to Texas, We finally found it! We came in an hour before closing with our 2 toddlers, my husband and his sister. The portions are amazing and everything had so much flavor. The restaurant itself is SO clean and there’s a little arcade room off the eating area but the hidden gem of the show is the dessert! Freshly made fried pies! They have 3 flavors but you can do half and half of each flavor. I did apple & peach The peach reminded me of An elevated peach cobbler that was perfectly sweet w/ a scoop of ice cream. I had the big catfish dinner and this tasted like the catfish my grandma makes, It was perfectly crisp & everything was hot but not greasy. My Husband had a bacon burger and every bite he was making the happiest noises Our appetizer was the sampler on a board! So creative & cute! My husbands a bigger guy and the single patty was PERFECT! The owner, her grandson & the cook (her husband) sweetest people, so nice to talk to & as Texans I can confirm, They have the flavor of Dallas with some small town comfort.
